Group FIn the coming weeks, we shall be looking into the current odds set on various situations regarding the group stages. This week we shall be looking into the group containing the (debatable) world’s best player and how the current odds are shaping up this particular group’s predictions.

As per the sportsbook page, the odds currently in place show that Argentina are favourites to end up in first place in this group with odds set at 1.02, followed by Bosnia & Herzegovina with odds set at 1.75. Nigeria are further down the pecking order with odds of ending up first in the group set at 2.25 whilst Iran’s odds of the same success are the lowest with odds set at 4.50.

The Dual Forecasting shows that the majority of fans alike are predicting Argentina to come in first place followed by Bosnia & Herzegovina in second place, with this combo having odds set at 1.65. Having Nigeria in second place instead of Dzeko and co. brings up odds of 2.50, whereas replacing the Nigerians with the Iranians brings up odds set at 9.00. Therefore one could easily arrive to the conclusion that the majority of fans predict Argentina to come in first place no matter what, with Bosnia as favourites to grab second.

Although some entertaining clashes are expected from this group, one could tell that the general consensus about this group is that Argentina will whizz through to the knockouts, with only Bosnia & Herzegovina being able to give them some form of a challenge.
