In recent weeks, we have been looking into the current odds set on various situations regarding the group stages. This week we shall be analysing the group containing Ze Germans and the mighty Ronaldo and how the current odds are shaping up this particular group’s predictions.

Although the Portuguese is currently considered the world’s best player on current form, different levels of quality within the national squad means that Portugal are not necessarily as strong as Germany when it comes to the collective. Although previous odds show this group as a balanced one, it’s clear that Germany and Portugal are predicted to progress.

Numbers do get interesting should Portugal progress in first place with Germany in second with odds set at 4.50, clarifying pundits and experts’ prediction that Germany will perform better than Ronaldo and co.
