Group GIn recent weeks, we have been looking into the current odds set on various situations regarding the group stages. This week we shall be analysing the group containing Ze Germans and the mighty Ronaldo and how the current odds are shaping up this particular group’s predictions.

Although the Portuguese is currently considered the world’s best player on current form, different levels of quality within the national squad means that Portugal are not necessarily as strong as Germany when it comes to the collective. As per the sportsbook page, the current odds in place show that Germany are predicted to top the group with odds set at 1.12, followed by Portugal with odds set at 1.50.

Meanwhile, the United States and Ghana‘s odds of ending up in first place are both set at 3.00, showing that this group is predicted to be a much more balanced one than others.

The Dual Forecasting shows that both Germany and Portugal are predicted to progress respectively with odds set at 1.55, whilst the odds of USA replacing the Portuguese in second place has odds set at 4.80. Although previous odds show this group as a balanced one, it’s clear that Germany and Portugal are predicted to progress.

Numbers do get interesting should Portugal progress in first place with Germany in second with odds set at 4.50, clarifying pundits and experts’ prediction that Germany will perform better than Ronaldo and co.
